Torben Emmerling
Torben is the Founder of Affective Advisory, Chief Behavioural Officer of Team Farner and author of the D.R.I.V.E.® framework for behavioural insights in strategy and policy. He is a Board Member of the Behavioural Insights for Better Politics and Societies (BIPS) Initiative and the Global Association of Applied Behavioural Scientists (GAABS), and a ETH-lecturer and HBR-published author.
Stefano Brusoni
Stefano is Professor of Technology and Innovation Management at ETH Zurich. He is Associate Editor of the Strategic Management Journal and served as Program Chair of the Behavioral Strategy IG of the Strategic Management Society. Stefano holds a PhD in Science and Technology Policy from University of Sussex. His current work at ETH focuses on the analysis of obstacles to innovation and change.
Thilo Pfrang
Thilo is founder & CEO of behamics, applying Behavioural Science to analyse and improve customer experience online. He has a PhD in Behavioural Economics from University of St.Gallen and more than 10 years experience in advising organisations in consumer psychology and digital marketing. Thilo is a lecturer in Digital Marketing and Behavioural Economics at renowned institutes.
Zorica Zagorac-Uremović
Zorica is a Senior Researcher at the Technology and Innovation Management at ETH Zurich, studying the cognitive abilities involved in creative problem-solving and adaptive leadership. Zorica holds a PhD from the University of Liechtenstein and has worked several years as retail marketing and category manager in the machine engineering and textiles industry.

The Applied Behavioural Science Academy is designed to provide innovative insights and applicable tools for executives, policy makers, marketing, tech, innovation and design leads, project managers and thought leaders. There is no formal qualification requirement. Candidates ideally have at least three to five years professional experience in private, public or non-profit organisations.

No previous knowledge in Behavioural Science is required. This course is actually specifically designed for leaders with no or little knowledge of Behavioural Science. During the first day, we will cover a comprehensive introduction to Applied Behavioural Science, before we deep dive into more complex concepts and applications.

The primary course language of the Academy is English. Depending on the cohort, some sessions and panels may also be made available in German.

The Applied Behavioural Science Academy is a full-time course spanning over three consecutive days. Lectures and panels take place from 9:00am until 6:00pm and include lunch, coffee and networking breaks.

Every participant receives a certificate of participation after completion of the course, stating content and length of the course. Please note that this certificate is issued by the three organising lecturers affiliated to three leading organisations. However, it does not constitute an official certificate or degree of any academic institution.

At the moment, we only offer in person courses, delivered in a world-class location in Zurich Switzerland. We look forward to connecting with participants from a wide range of backgrounds interested in Applied Behavioural Science. At any time, we will of course make sure to follow the current Covid-19 guidelines by the Swiss Ministry of Health (BAG).

We deliberately keep our cohort sizes small to ensure the best learning and networking experience. One cohort will not hold more than 15 select participants. We recommend to sign up early to register your place in the Applied Behavioural Science Academy.

The course fee is CHF 2’980.- or EUR 2’980.- respectively. We accept payment in Swiss Francs and Euros and will send you an individual invoice to be paid before the start of the programme.
The course fee includes three full days of teaching by leading practitioners and researchers, several keynote presentations, panel discussions and networking opportunities. It also includes three lunches and daily coffee breaks at Villa Hatt.
Additional expenses (e.g. accommodation, transport and additional activities) have to be paid by the participants. We will be happy to assist you in organising a comfortable journey and accommodation.
